The entire AIB website is simply down. Earlier today it said it was undergoing 'essential maintenance' (in the middle of a work day) and so wasn't working. Now it fails to appear at all. Not really inspiring of confidence in a major financial institution. Particularly a bank that, with Bank of Ireland, has received billions in Irish taxpayer money in a recent bailout, sorry, 'recapitalisation'. Think I'll hold off on any online financial transactions for the time being. At least until it can muster a 'we're not here right now' placeholder site.
