National Day of Demonstration

There is a better, fairer way. 50-150,000 people came together to say so, depending on your estimates of attendance at the National Day of Demonstration, organised by the unions and TASC, among others. Good to see some anger out on the streets. And some alternatives being presented, from the podium and, somewhat less convincingly, on various placards. And surprisingly moving to hear parts of the Proclamation read from the steps of the GPO. An energising afternoon.
