Something beautiful when I can't begin to express how I'm feeling today:
Probably the Mweelrea mountains, viewed from the Renvyle peninsula in Connemara in County Galway, in February 2011. Sharing some joy by sharing something beautiful. Was like being in another country. Feels like another world now.

Fantastic photos. I found Connemara simultaniously uplifting and depressing, for what made me most joyful was the sense of the other, of being elsewhere. The irony of connemara being one of the best things in Ireland because at times it felt like it was somewhere other than Ireland I find a tad depressing. of course Connemara is not something Other than Ireland, it is just something Other than my Dublin-centric two dimensional sense of Ireland.

Gorgeous photos. Love them. Particularly the one with the sheep. Makes me want to go to Renvyle!
And you guys need to get out of the city more! (reading unkie d here...) There's plenty of Ireland that is amazing!
